It is now in the new experimental release, please download it. You can turn this feature on by evoking menu.exe, then click Options, click the "Experiments" tab.

You can adjust the amount of elevation as well.

If you name your consists with a file name containing "tilted", the train will tilt along the curves.
Quick edit - the .CON file's name must have "tilted" in it. Putting it in the name field inside the .con file will not cut it. Another note: Superelevation can only be accessed through the Windows-style menu (the one with 3 frames, one for MSTS directory, another for route, and the last for activity). It's in the last tab of the "Options" menu (thanks to baldwin for pointing that out).
Josh, the superelevation will have to be adjusted manually in order to fix that for now. The tilt supplement to superelevation becomes more pronounced as the consist gains speed (virtually none at low speed, thankfully). However, regardless of how sharp the curve is or the speed of the train, superelevated curves will always produce the same tilt. Superelevation is not retained in saved states (as it is a sim preference), so in your scenario, save and exit before entering the switch maze and set superelevation to zero until you're out of it.
An example of non-tilt train superelevation (this is at a setting of 6 out of 10 max since it's 79MPH track and the curves are pretty wide on the FBL main line):

Does the tilting only work above a certain speed? Or am I going to see an Acela tilting through the puzzle switches in New York at 10mph?

Superelevation was set to 2. I had a few too many things running which is probably why the frame rates are low. A number of the A2t sections did not render completely. (and some A3t at Cornwall on Hudson) I'll have to fiqure out what to try with my berm sections.

Again; Thank you, Thank you Thank you.

Oh COOL, thanks. Now I notice without 'Tilted' in the filename of the consist, my train tilts on the superelevated curves anyway, would it tilt more/tilt without superelevation if I did that to the consist file?

Thanks for that demo, csantucci. Team ORTS, thanks for all of your hard work on this brilliantly developing train simulator.

I have uploaded on Youtube a 4 minutes clip about tilting trains and curve superelevation on ORTS. You find it here
The ORTS developers have released two great functions: track superelevation and tilting trains; this video shows the spectacular effects with a Pendolino til...
