    Hi,

Awesome and Cool Stuff. Frankly this Rocks!

Now I have to go find all the appropriate S curves in the Tristate Route and scenic them up a bit. Could be awhile, there's a number of them.

Could you start with the one in Waldwick?

          Hi,

Joe Cooney has control of that area ( Suffern to Jersey City ). He's installing the Coach yards at Waldwick and some of the other trackwork along that stretch of the Erie.

2D cab is hard to rotate (need a lot of culling of the 2D cab image if it rotates), the answer lies on 3D cab :-).

How is it done in BVE? (The cab is a 2D image).

First, super elevation works for any existing MSTS route, no change is needed at all (still need to fix some bugs, but generally working).

It is now in the new experimental release, please download it. You can turn this feature on by evoking menu.exe, then click Options, click the "Experiments" tab.

You can adjust the amount of elevation as well.

If you name your consists with a file name containing "tilted", the train will tilt along the curves.

I have uploaded on Youtube a 4 minutes clip about tilting trains and curve superelevation on ORTS. You find it here
The ORTS developers have released two great functions: track superelevation and tilting trains; this video shows the spectacular effects with a Pendolino til...

Thanks for that demo, csantucci. Team ORTS, thanks for all of your hard work on this brilliantly developing train simulator.

Oh COOL, thanks. Now I notice without 'Tilted' in the filename of the consist, my train tilts on the superelevated curves anyway, would it tilt more/tilt without superelevation if I did that to the consist file?

                              Um, yeah... Wow.

Very nice, especially the transitions. Great effect.
