Here are a few random screenshots I've snagged over the last two years now...More to come as I dig them up...These are fictional routes based off what could've happened had the SP and NWP not folded nearly 20 and 16 years ago respectively.
Images 1) A hotshot 1-NPJNI-11 (First Section, North Platte to Jenner, CA., Intermodal) is seen just outside Schellville, CA., on the Williams Connection. In a few minutes, the crew will arrive in Schellville, CA., block the crossing and change crews so that a new crew can take this train to Jenner, CA., and the Intermodal facility on the coast.
Image 2) A hotshot 1-NPJNI-11 (First Section, North Platte to Jenner, CA., Intermodal) is seen on the Roseland Wye headed towards Jenner, CA. In just under 15 minutes this train will arrive at the yard, power and caboose will be cut off and sent to the house while the intermodal crews get to work.
Image 3) NCR (NWP owned) GP-9 #3800 is seen running back to Sausalito, CA., light after dropping some cars at Mill Valley Lumber. The crew was told to come back in 24 hours with a second unit to pull the loads and empties for their 3-SARV-M train between Sausalito and Roseville.
