Thread Purpose:
Some classic Santa Fe action on various routes in the southwestern U.S.A. prior to the BN and ATSF merger.

I'll post a few screenshots here and there in this thread, so just check in to witness the action unfolding!

ATSF (now BNSF) GP60 #160 leads an eastbound stacker/trailer train on the ATSF Pueblo Sub, April 1996, with a bonus Conrail SD40-2 triplet of motive power.

There is a "double" video CD put out by Pentrex (Across the Heartland) which covers the Chillicothe Sub and the Marceline Sub. I created activities for both subs detailing Amtrak's Southwest Chief from Chicago to LA in Sep 1995 just before the merger. I'm up to Segment 8 which is the Seligman Sub which should be released shortly. All traffic consists used were ATSF based on the Pentrex video. Both activities and an update to correct a problem with how fast the Chief could travel are available in File Library.
