    A few day & night cab shots

    I spend the majority of time in the cab, running the train. I especially enjoy night running, and now that I figured out the reshade options and how to tweak them, my nights are so much more realistic. Light where it needs to be light, dark where it needs t be dark. Still tweaking, but getting close to what I've been looking for over the years.
    OR/MG/Reshade - great team!
    Shots may be boring for most, but it sure looks like railroading from up front

    Very nice, my dear friend! The routes you run always make me wonder if this really is ORTS or something much newer.

      I would be interested to know what values you use for your sphere of lights and various lighting effects when you get that perfect combination - if you're willing to share of course

        Hi Connor,
        The sphere of lights I use on the modern GE's I often run:

        Lights ( 18
        Light (
        comment( Sphere of Lights Bright)
        Type ( 1 )
        Conditions (
        Headlight ( 3 )
        Unit ( 2 )
        TimeOfDay ( 2 )
        )
        Cycle ( 0 )
        FadeIn ( 1.5 )
        FadeOut ( 0.75 )
        States ( 1
        State (
        Duration ( 0.0 )
        LightColour ( FFFFE4AB )
        Position ( 0.0 3.0 5.0 )
        Transition ( 0 )
        Radius ( 50 )
        Angle ( 14.0 )
        )
        )
        )
        Light (
        Comment ( Sphere of lights Dim )
        Type ( 1 )
        Conditions (
        Headlight ( 2 )
        Unit ( 2 )
        TimeOfDay ( 2 )
        )
        Cycle ( 0 )
        FadeIn ( 1.5 )
        FadeOut ( 0.75 )

        LightColour ( ffffef8f )
        Position ( 0.0 3.3 7.0 )
        Transition ( 0 )
        Radius ( 8.0 )
        Angle ( 4.0 )
        )
        )
        )

        Next time I run a train, I'll do my best to remember to note the reshade settings I use, though fine tuning the individual settings is to user taste. As well, when you set up reshade you have the option to install pre-configured shader packs with settings. That I have a hard time remembering which I always install.
