    FJ&Gv2 Autumn Activities Uploaded

I've uploaded a set of 30 activities for my FJ&Gv2 route for the fall of 1979. They took me over 150 hours to run.

I've also uploaded two other files that go with the activities. In the fall of 1979 two CACV work cars were sent to the FJ&G to be shopped, and the Delaware Otsego System bought Roberval and Saguenay 31. It was sent to the FJ&G to be shopped, painted, and lettered as LASB 103. 103 was then assigned to the FJ&G to start replacing the two aging S-2s.

    Paul,
It's been a long time since I ran the FJ&G, been on the DAR kick to be honest, with upgrades to US Tracks, and some terrtex edits. Downloading the FJ&G V2 route now, Apparently, I never installed this one, only the first one! Looking forward to this activity pack!

      Hi Shawn,

The FJGv2 comes with 109 hours of activities and if the activities I uploaded Friday ever get into the library, that's another 150 hours.

They are showing now. I noticed the past couple of days new items didn't pop up until recently. Not sure what that was all about.

259 hours of activities? Sounds like a typical month of a railroader.

Had a look earlier, but have just been uploaded this afternoon.

The two sets of activities represent two months or so of real activity on the railroad. They ran five days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to Broadalbin, Tuesday and Thursday just to Coleco Industries. Average day is 5 hours, not bad for the sim.

That's not bad. Averages about what I get now, though it's usually anywhere between 6-10 hours a day, when I work. Spare Board has got me feeling bored, but at least I am able to enjoy more things in life!

I think considering your routes come pre-activities with your own stock, FJ&G will be a standalone. It will make things easier to navigate when I create my own consists if needed.

The operation is much simpler then the first version. One train goes from Fonda up the hill and back down, that's it. Still lots of switching to do though.
