Any Route, Any Train, Anytime! - 2023 Edition

Everyone needs to follow the guidelines, starting with what's been in place for years and years :

    https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showth...sting-tutorial!)

Summarized for those with shorter attention spans:
    • If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all
    • If you have something you're not supposed to have in the first place, don't post pictures of it
    • Post the name of the route and whose equipment you're showing off -- that eliminates 90% of the comments

If you still feel the urge to be ultra-critical, feel free to use PM's or post to a site like Facebook where that type of activity is more welcome.

Those who can't follow the spirit and intent of these three simple rules may find themselves facing a one-week penalty application of the brakes...

Also, as with all threads in the screen shot forum, comments and posts without photos are subject to removal at some point in the future.

    Rules for this thread:
    • Feel free to post ANY screenshots related to this thread (Routes, locos, stocks, etc.).

    Previous thread: https://www.trainsim.com/vbts/showth...d-Any-Era-2022

    Enjoy, and be safe!

Nice winter pics. I am noticing in particular how the snowy terrain has a cool multi-dimensional look to it. Very noticeable in the last shot.

This is all thanks to the amazing work of Sean Kelly. He did a fantastic job recreating Mullan Pass in virtual format.

The oldest units on the roster lead a hot southbound Z train.

SD40-2's don't know the meaning of the word "OLD"? Which SLI/TS route is this, MK?

Super foggy west of Chicago yesterday afternoon. Thunderstorms, hail...not your norm for 1/3. So, had to make a run along the BNSF with some of that fog, from Zearing to Eola. One from each side of the cab, and 2 from a drone.

Modified Tehachapi Pass route. Redone to give it a more Pacific Northwest theme. Been a for fun project of mine for a while.

I already noticed something in MSTS / OPEN RAILS .

We only load and transport ore and coal gondolas.

WE NEVER UNLOAD THEM _ There is no simulation of unloading

equipment (new or remanufactured) has to leave the factory by trailer along the roads.

SD40-3 locomotive remanufactured at EMD CARTEPILAR Brazil unit, heading to SETRAG - GABON
