Gloomy PNW weather as a manifest train from Galesburg, Illinois works it's way west.

Clunkers still going strong on the K&E. Eventually they will be repainted, but for now, their service is needed.

Been a while, but here I am back in Open Rails. While I may not have fancy custom reskins or fancy custom routes to offer...I have fancy custom...physics? Alas, that doesn't show up in the pictures, so here's some shots I got today.

Another day, another run for the K&E's KVWJ job.

Thanks for the comments folks, it's a pleasure seeing the shots everyone makes and I'm glad to have something to contribute. As I continue messing around I'll hopefully have more of those 4K shots to share.

Just shy of 44K HP to lift 16K tons over Mullan.

Something completely different for me. Desert running with some Union Pacific.

Back to some K&E action with freshly painted GP40M units leading a soon to be upgraded and painted clunker.

And one more, would K&E Paint Sceheme look ok on a SD70M-2? Your Route seems fitting for it( Both are yours ).

K&E is a four axle power only road, as the bridges and curves wouldn't handle six axles very well on the Dominion Atlantic, even if they did have radial trucks. The WMRC however has a handful of six axle power, including SD30C-ECO's, C41-8W's, C44AC's, SD75M's, SD40M-2's, SD40T-2's, SD60ECO's, SD60M's, SD70AH's, and SD70M-2's, mainly for road freight between Portland, ME and Rouses Point, NY, as well as up into Beecher Falls, VT.

                                WMRC Six axle power:

And some four axle power, CSXT Train PORU heading up the Rumford Branch with a three pack of GP40's.
