Over the course of the wintertime the PNWR crews began the conversion process to upgrade the SD60 fleet into ACe standards. The first two SD60MACe units emerged from the shops today and headed west on their break in run over Mullan.

My work brings me back to the GE Genesis locomotive. Physics for this thing is fun (read: complicated) due to the interesting approach to head end power. I'm also messing with blended braking which has seen some great updates thanks to cesar on the Open Rails dev team.
