You can sneak CNW power in screens anytime and you won't get any complaints from me and I'm pretty sure our commander and chief Eric Olesen feels the same way!!!!

That was the first thing I noticed as well... CNW and SP patches were fairly common on the Gila

I agree. Maybe it's time to start reaching out to some of them to show them what they are missing.

I've roped a few in, since getting roped back into the community myself.

Having a bit of trouble quoting several posts while on my phone, but I appreciate the comments on the Brett Tarr locomotive.

We had a get together over the weekend with his family and majority of the railroad employees and their families, which went pretty well. Definitely hard to see the kids to through such a tough tragedy.

If there is interest, I can update this unit and the other, and do a release of them to the community here..

A "what if" Illinois Railway rebuild; ex-WC SD45-2 power, rebuilt to SD40-3, eventually to make it's way into IR paint. (if I could find someone to work in the paint shop, LOL!!)

Shoot me an email, bud. I’m sure there’s room in my paint shop this coming weekend.

Finally getting some driving in on Shasta. It's neat how much flat territory this route has, enough for this < 1 hp/t train to not instantly stall.

(The train is longer than this siding, no clue why OR decided to put me in the hole.)

Granted, you so much as imagine a gradient steeper than 0.5% and this thing will slow to a crawl. Think lightweight thoughts!

pschlik - I'm confused by the same activity. I'm also sitting in the siding, where my train is too long, and the opposing train can't get by me. I'm also wondering if/when I'll pick up helpers.

                            Curt,

Just because your own train is longer than a siding, doesn't mean you can't have a successful meet if the other train is *shorter* than the siding (hint: that's exactly the case in this activity. It's by design). Patience young Padawan, the helper pick-up is not much further beyond Dorris.
