Ironically enough, Iron Roads did own a railroad that operated between Windsor and Hantsport in the 90's.
The iron roads stuff always had interest to me, especially with the BAR. Anything new england has been really growing on me recently (your stuff may have been one of the catalysts for that).

Some screens from the Pocahontas District rework I have been working on. I think this is turning out to be a really good texture combination for doing more eastern routes.

That's simply just amazing! I've always liked pocahontas but this just tops it. I'd be very interested in seeing more progress on it, great for running some 90s NS locomotives too.

Post # 698 above: excellent texture blending by the tunnel. The rock and terrain look seamless and very realistic!

Is that one of Rodrigoville's routes? Whatever happened to him? His route building work was fantastic. Just more wonderful routes that I, and likely many other simmers, would pay to have. Also, great looking locomotives--more nicely weathered stock that would be really neat to be able to run. I've tried my hand numerous times to try to realistically weather locomotives, but I just can't seem to master it.

He (Rodrigo) is still working on his masterpiece, last we recently communicated.

Thanks, Neil. I'm very pleased with how well the base terrain and additional textures blend together. I've spent a few weeks now building a library of textures that all share similar colors and resolutions.

Here is a video of the same general area on the route.
