I run this beast so often, but got tired of the solid blue; had to break up the monotony a bit. I don't know how you talented skinners/painters do this stuff, but just this was a 2 day project for me! LOL And, my lines are not 100% matched around the meeting edges.

    Thank you!
It's the MEC Mountain Division route I've been working on, off and on for the past couple of years..

With RY2/YR1 being as needed, job RC2 heads towards Beecher Falls with 35 empty chip cars, and some local cars to be spotted along the way. This crew will meet CR1 at Fabyan and swap trains.

You can rebuild at least 2 to 3 times with different generations of ECO rebuilds. Frame will fail long before the engines fail.

I *might* have a few SD70M-2 's in WMRC paint for sale. I did have a handful of SD40M-2's for sale, but Brody swiped those. Haha

Also, NBSR is officially selling off their SD40-2 fleet, if you'd like them patched and sent your way.

Another short one today on the WMRC with some local traffic and a handful of CN bound cars. Hopefully things pick back up soon with the CP traffic, if it keeps going, it sounds like WMRC will be running as needed over this line.

Those actually look really good! It took way too long for someone to finally produce these four bay grain hoppers. Definitely have to make a purchase of these, hopefully there will be more down the road.
I see a lot of them in BNGX, CBFX, NDYX, AEX, etc.

Tiger Trains recently released these 4 bay hoppers. Took them out for a run on the RMD-east route. With ICR family of roads powering the train over the Big Belt Mountains.

The MILW unit is a custom spec model, and is a C44AC.

Nice shots, Shawn and Brock! Gotta say I'm a bit partial to some of that power. 😉

Due to the CN/CPKC lockout, the Mountain Division has greatly reduced traffic as the result, with only a handful of cars from VRS and the customers off the Lamoille Valley Sub. Word is that CN has gone back to operating trains, so the WMRC expects to have some inbound fuel oil, propane, woodpulp, grain/feed and empty paper boxcars to come off the CN interchange in Fonda Jct, VT.

    Edit:
The following day (August 23rd), WMRC had a bigger sized train as a result of the interchange from CN. Mostly loads that typically come off CP, but has been diverted over CN to keep the customers happy for now.

I get that, could be a whole new model, or could be an F/A addon to that model, using the piece from the ES44. Just a few thoughts.
