Got to keep killing this thread with my boring WMRC pictures!

In 1985, WMRC formed to take over operations of the MEC Mountain Division from Guilford Rail System, after they purchased the D&H and pushed into Binghamton, NY. WMRC saw that the need was still there on the MD, not only with connection to CP, but also to the LVRC and CN, plus the mills in New Hampshire and Vermont. Early years had some color consists with mainly lease units doing the honors.

More rent-a-wrecks on the early days of WMRC.

And now jump ahead to 2024, with fresh rebuilt SD70ACT-4's pulling the five days a week CR1 job with mainly logs and chip cars that will be sorted out for various paper mills in Maine and New Hampshire.
