A small stretch of the old GT Holly Sub route that I touched up. See the 3 Railex Reefers? Using Monogame and shadows, I always get this effect on rolling stock - any ideas?

                    Neil,
I have a feeling, it has something to do with how Ian has the shine set up on his freight cars. I noticed it in regular ORTS as well, and have had to go in and remove the shine in the shape file. Hopefully some day this will be something we could see better suited and not so odd looking, so that way we can use shine on any freshly painted rolling stock.

These are not Ian's cars, they are 2004 RALX downloads...old stuff. BUT, it happens on a lot of my rolling stock.
Not saying your solution is incorrect, though.

Those are great screenshots. Would you be willing to share those latest ReShade settings of yours? I've been experimenting with ReShades a fair amount of late, but haven't been able to achieve that really nice effect that you have. Also, from where did you get that RailAmerica unit? That's pretty neat, also. Thanks, as always, for your contributions.
