International DSB coach Class AU from 1932. Free download.

A model of DSB's (Danish State Railways) Class AU from 1932 can now be downloaded for free from https://galleri-cs.dk/trainsim.php . Customized for Open Rails / MSTS. Epoch II and III variants with vacuum and air brakes, and open and closed canopies. Also, the related ReadMe file can be downloaded separately for preview.

In terms of railway history, these wagons are quite interesting:

Firstly, they were among the first steel wagons purchased by DSB. It was riveted steel, because at the time it was not possible to weld plates. The undercarriage was also something new and modern: 3 m riveted steel bogies with a maximum speed of 120 km/h allowed for express trains.

Secondly, they were used as transit wagons to Germany and Sweden. Therefore, they had both 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes. For the sake of international application, the cars were equipped with two brake systems: vacuum and compressed air. Also, there were ferry brackets so that they could be carried over by ferry. This was also something new, because of the limited ferry capacity, passenger cars were not usually carried over.

    Enjoy!

      Hello,

Thank you very much for sharing this file.
These old-timer cars are very nice and realistic ! Congratulations to you.
You've made a great job. I also love your steam engines.
Keep on doing this great job !
      Best regards from France
      Phil
PS: Please could you add the file in zip format (without an istall program) because my version of Windows refuses
to run the .exe file saying that it comes from a suspicious site!...
      Thanks in advance.

        ???
Never heard of that before! Used the same installer for years! Maybe you can run it as administrator? Or try another PC?

More likely a false positive from your antivirus program.
The windows av does not report anything.

No, it is really a message from Windows ! ( On a dark blue screen ) . Here is a screencap of the message followed by its translation in english ....

            Blocage de Windows.jpg

            Windows has protected your computer.
Windows Smartscreen prevented an unrecognized application from starting.
Running this application could be dangerous for your computer.
