    Australian Screenshots

    G'day everyone.

First time post and thought I share some Australian screenshots on Open Rails. Shown here, The ex Western Australia Government Railways L class diesels hauling a Fully Loaded Wheat Train on the old MSTS Australian New South Wales Great Southern Mainline.. The wagons this consist is pulling is also a project I'm currently in the process of finishing off as they are not complete, they will be for Open Rails Only due to the details on these wagons. The wagons pulled on this are known as the XGAY wagons previously owned by the company that is no longer around anymore known as ATN Access (Australian Transport Network) the labels on the side of them was by the Australian Wheat Board. The locomotives pulling them are former ex Western Australian Government Railways L class locos painted in the company's livery which is identical to Wisconsin Central Ltd's paint scheme.

I've always liked the Australian railroads but I got basically no Aussie content in my collection-just might have to track this route down. And it's good to see some new content on the way for those in the southern hemisphere.

        G'day pschik,
You maybe out of luck finding this route in particular, this version was specifically made from the old Australian MSTS Workshop forums which is no longer around on the web., I think too the person who made the route is no longer involved in the MSTS/OR scene anymore.

I agree there needs to be more Australian content for Open Rails only. I'm slowly doing my best to contribute on that.

        Thank you,

        Best Regards,
        Josho

Freeware from defunct sites can be shared here by others, based on the presumption that someone who shared their work via a site that ultimately disappeared most likely didn't intend for their work to disappear forever by someone else's fault.

There have been a few exceptions to to that, and I'm happy to remove things if the author truly feels that way.
If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

            G'day eric.

AFAIK he does seem to be OK having his freeware stuff up on here. That include his routes so his work can be shown with appreciation with permission. If it is on here, it most likely would be from either himself years ago or others who got granted permission dating back the 2000s to early 2010s,.Hope that answers your question.

            Best Regards,
            Josho
