For the rivet counters... More rivets!

While creating new heavyweight passenger rolling stock for the upcoming BLW/ZT "Conn River Passenger Pack", I took a good hard look at the existing cars, and, armed with detailed photos from the Valley Railroad, I've upgraded existing stock textures as well. First up, the four 10 section, 1 drawing room, 2 compartment (10-1-2) sleepers originally offered as a bonus to the BLW/ZT Monon 2 set: Fort Canby, Camp Meigs, Sir Henry W Thornton and Camp Dix. Screenshot taken at French Lick, Indiana on Rick Berg's Monon 2 route.

These cars will be reissued as a bonus to customers that purchase(d) the BLW/ZT Monon 2 set. I will announce availability soon.

      Hi Rick,

      Looks good.

What cars are you making for the CT River?

      I've got schematics for the 1922 B&M Osgood Bradley's - four-wheel trucks.

I've looked for the "American Flyers" but I haven't found any really good drawings. I'm guessing you may have the source for the old freeware coaches in the lib.

Looking forward to seeing what you can do.

        Hey Scott,

Those look really nice! They'll make a great addition to the rolling stock available for Paul Charland's Conn River.

My target for the Conn River Passenger pack is 1955-1960. The HW Pullman sleepers that I have completed so far include the last 10 rostered by B&M (all scrapped in the early 1960s). In addition, I'm using sources from the B&M, CV and New Haven historical societies for engineering drawings and actual consists (including conductors logs). It's a fun project! I've also been working on the streamlined sleepers from the New Haven, B&M and CN,

I haven't gotten to coaches yet, but I do have both New Haven and B&M Osgood Bradley cars on my list, mostly the 'American Flyer' cars that would have been found on the Montrealer/Washingtonian, etc. I have drawings from the NHRHTA, plus the models that Phil Moberg created on trainsim.com.
