    TSRE Not Responding!

When I Open TSRE Consist Editor I get a TSRE Not Responding Popup. Is This Normal or What? Up Till About 30 Minutes Ago it Has Been Operating with No Problems Since I Installed it.

    No, that's not normal.
Is your computer waiting on pending updates?
Had this happen yesterday. I could not get OR to run my route, at all.
As soon as I let the update do it's thing everything was fine.

When I Start the Editor Everything Comes Up OK. I Click on c:msts and the load line at the Bottom turns Green. When I Click on the Green Nothing Happens.
The System will Not Load. If I Click the Green Eventually I get the TSRE5 v0.7.012 Consist Editor (Not Responding) pop-up.

There is a small dialog that flashes on the screen then the Loading Trains... Progress ruler appears. Next the Loading Activities progress dialog ruler. There should be a "Log.txt" file created in your TSRE5 folder. Zip it and post to this thread.

And in my experience the more items you have, the longer it takes to load on the initial startup.

My Version does not have a Loading Trains Progress Ruler. I Click on the Green Load Line at the Bottom and Up Till About an Hour Ago the Editor Would then Open. There is a log text document in the TSRE5 Folder but it Only Lists the Files I Have Installed.

This happens to me with multiple monitors. TSRE can't open on the second monitor, only the primary.

Closing with Task Manager and reopening usually fixes it.
If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

It should list both Trainset files (ENG & WAG), Consist files and Activity files. Does you log list ALL of these? TSRE logs an error when it finds a problem and stops.

IF you really want help, upload your log.

The Thing is that it Opened Almost Immediately. It didn't Matter if the Program was Open or Closed. I Just Clicked on the Consist Editor and it Would Start. Then I Clicked c:msts, the Red Line at the Bottom Went from Red/Exit to Green/Load, I Clicked on the Green Load Line and the Editor Opened.

Are you saying "it used to open" or "it opens now"?

                      Charles,
Found the Problem. I had Downloaded and Installed a Locomotive that Didn't Want to Install Properly. When I Checked the Log it Showed Up Multiple Times.
Deleted it and the Program Worked.

It Opens and Loads and Works.
