Hmmm.....I'm pretty sure that the new version will work fine but I will probably give it some time & see how others fare before I jump in. Thanks for your help w/this specific issue & I very much appreciate the efforts you continue to put into improving both this site and other related programs and content. clint

The test version coming out tomorrow will clean some things up for the Consist Editor, including the texture notifications and improved include handling and mass calculations.

Starting with 8.004b, the texture substitution (e.g. show an ACE if the DDS isn't present but the ACE is) is not automatic (I may switch this back or add a setting).
It'll be listed in the log file as a warning if a texture called for by a shape isn't present.
Code:[E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/glass.ace" [E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/e8wheels.ace" [E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/nwheels.ace" [E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/brake_l.ace" [E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/porthol1.ace" [E] Missing texture: "e:/dropbox/msts/trains/trainset/gb_e9_cnw/acc_01.ace"

TSRE5 Consist Editor Question
I have been wondering if there is some method in TSRE Consist Editor to identify ACE and/or DDS dependency files are relevant to a specific image. Thanks for the enlightenment. ClintTags: None
