Is there going to be a fix made to the consist editor too? Neither 32 bit or 64 bit versions save consists on windows 10 anymore no matter what mode you run it in. Both are linked to Tran simulator, but don't save anything in admin mode or normal mode.Old railfans never truly die. They Just lose track.Comment

Hi ONRrailfan,
I am not a regular user of TSRE5 or Windows 10, but using v0.6911, I had no problems saving new, or modifying existing, consist files. Windows 10 Pro 64 bit is fully up to date.
TSRE5 is NOT set to run as administrator; MSTS root is in its own folder and NOT in C:\Program Files/C:\Program Files (x86).
I suggest it's a problem with your installation!
Cheers,

No problem here saving. Just updated to 6912. Are you selecting menu File> Save to make the save after editing?CharlesComment

I just want to use it period but nothing works. It just won't save. I do file save, and then go to exit, it asks save and quit or quit and don't save, so I click save and close... No new consist, my display name isn't shown, and the number of created consists stays the same.Old railfans never truly die. They Just lose track.Comment

Hi ONRrailfan,
I don't know if it's relevant to the new consist editor, but where, exactly, is your CONSISTS folder? If it's in C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86), it might be the reason for your problem! If so, your files ARE being saved, but MSTS doesn't "know" where to look, so can't show, or use, them!!
Cheers,

What I don't get is if Train Simulator can't be in C (program files) or C ( program Files (x86) ) where is it to be then? surely not in the TSRE folder?Old railfans never truly die. They Just lose track.Comment
