How to advance time of day in RE?

I am not finding info on how to advance the time of day when working in the Route Editor. I need to peruse a route at night to see what objects need night textures added.

    Thanks very much!

Is it possible to do that in TSRE?

"Is it possible to do that in TSRE?"?

By God, I hope so. It was so helpful in the old MSTS RE to identify objects that glowed in the dark, needing night textures added. It'll be a cumbersome chore if the new RE lacks this ability.

          Not now.
          Switch day/night

Shame, but thanks for the confirmation.

I do it this way - create a backup of the TEXTURES folder in a different location.
Now I copy all .ace from ...\TEXTURES\NIGHT to ...\TEXTURES.
Now when you open the route in TSRE you see all the night textures and where they are missing. You can edit them now.
To undo this, you only have to restore the backup.

              Greetings...

Right, makes sense. I did a fly-by running a train and took screenshots, then went back in the RE and worked with the screenshots to find the objects names, and get the .ace files in the night folder.

There are lots of things that have night textures that shouldn't.

                  I'm slowly weeding them out.

You could do a run at night in OR to find shapes that are missing night textures, and just use the log to correct them

I never even know the log would list out shape files that didn't have proper night textures. That could really speed things up under the circumstances. Thanks Travis!
