    TDB Error

Hello, I already worked on a MSTS route a few years ago.
Now, when I open TSRE Editor 5, I got this "TDB Error" message. When I click on "Convert ...", the tool hangs up.

The other 3 options give the same end result.
It can normally be opened in MSTS Editor but I lack fluidity.

What should I try out now ?

    Thanks.

Is anything being written to the TSRE logfile?

Tsection out of sync is a good start - can you copy and paste the first few lines of your global/tsection.dat file? If it doesn't have a version number, download and install the most current version here, and install to your global folder.

Please attach the route tsection.dat, may need to zip the file.

            Hello,

Here are the first lines of TSECTION.DAT 38 :

            SIMISA@@@@@@@@@@JINX0F0t______

            _INFO ( Build 00038 )

            _Skip (
The following switches (all Y-Points) were missing the MainRoute() option. In build 34 of the tsection I am correcting the entries to include the missing line. The switches default to the first SectionIdx line and the correction (MainRoute ( 0 ) ) should not affect existing routes. However, if there is a problem with a route suddenly not working with the new tsection, check to see if it uses any of the sections listed below. If it does email me at tsection@train-sim.com and I will remove this 'fix'.

Hello, normally the Version 38 should be the latest. I downloaded it from TheTrain.de
              Thanks.

                Hi Marv,

I asked for the route tsection, not the global tsection.

The latest global tsection is build 60, I suggest you use that.

                  Yeah, don't use version 38....

Install build 60 from the link I provided above, and see if the problem persists.

Good evening. Unfortunately, this doesn't help. I replace the tsection.dat directly in the route directory and a second time in the Global Folder in the Router. I still get the same error message.
I also overwrite it in the Global Folder in the MSTS Main Directory (Games/MSTS/Globales).
                    Thanks.

                        >I replace the tsection.dat directly in the route directory

That is your problem, the route tsection is a local only tsection for dynamic track, you will have to restore the original route tsection from backup.

The TSection ( build 60 or whatever you use ) goes in the Global Folder. Also have you mixed Payware OR Routes together with older Routes? That can cause this type of problem, as they use their own TSections and Global files so need to be kept in a separate Install.
