Found myself back on Run 8 this evening after an absence of nearly 3 months. Well, got to get those Oil Cans down into the LA Basin.

So back to my OP, yes it still draws you back in and I've still got 800 odd assorted scattered consists/cars all over the map to deal with.

Just wish we did have a bit of news about anything coming down the pipe, either in terms of upgrades or new content.

I am doing the same thing tonight. I've been playing the hell out of ATS in my spare time. But I just want to run a train in the Southeastern US. I really want to move stuff to through the Bakersfield Sub but I don't know UP operations and it can be overwhelming even with OTTO.

Still, Fitzgerald photos has peeked my interest.

Yes Fitz is sounding good, definitely one to break open the piggy bank open and divert (some) of the beer money!

Finally added Arvin and Oak Creek to finish my SoCal network. Having great fun switching CalPortland (with the traffic spawned by Very Populated... ). The layout is like one of those switching puzzles!

I'm running 11 hours a week now in Northern California and streaming it all. I'm now 15 or so hours in and I'm just finishing the switching assignments at Sparks getting ready to send the daily WB to RV. This is a good operation for a single player base or small server and so far I enjoy it. Though news is always nice there is lots of competition out there now for my time. So far it has my attention as SimRail got repetitive for now and Railroader is still later this year.

            Thanks

As you know Sean I'm a bit of a "Ronin" between the various sims, but it was time for a change from the TSW canned and packaged experience. Switching the branches and running the locals is very relaxing and exercises the old brain a little, more so than push to go and stop Electrostar EMU's!

After sorting the Buttonwillow branch (traffic out and in), off to do the Arvin branch. Lordy "Well Populated... " puts a lot of traffic down there. Probably going to take a couple of pulls to clear it all out then work the standing traffic down to the industry. That then leaves several manifests to form up at Bakersfield with all the collected cars for points north, east and south (westish).
