Biased here, but I would like them to do Metrolink's Valley Sub, Palmdale to LATC. How they have been fixing some of the issues between Acton and Lancaster makes me excited. However, I understand how tedious making routes are, particularly for scenery in urban areas as from setting up terrain to placing everything down took me ~4 hours per mile in Open Rails, but I would be happy with anything in Socal. Also, for Norcal, the Martinez Sub sounds like an amazing idea.
I like the idea of a roadmap, but I understand they like to keep to themselves, and that's fine with me. And I agree, their strength is multiple connected routes and I am very curious about the plans behind Norcal and the Northeast. But it will probably take a while though as route creation is just such a long tedious process.Vern.Comment

I agree... Trackwork itself is easy but scenery is another story. I figure mile per week is what I've been able to maintain on my own projects. That includes time to build trackside models and other structures needed to make an OK route better. So 100 miles is really close to a two year project...If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!Comment

Not sure, but it would be neat to see all these lines converge in Chicago - maybe in 20 years if AI makes that kind of thing possible.Comment

the shorter routes are mostly because 220+ miles of track and scenery are a beast to deal with, it increases production time as well, My new larger routes will be around 100 MilesComment

I can certainly see the merit. I mean SoCal or indeed the South East networks are fantastic, but when you load in one of the “Very populated” sessions can be overwhelming. I think the one for SoCal starts with something like 880 individual consists.
Would still like to see a Run 8 take on Clinchfield, actually. Reckon it might be quite good though definitely a route that would benefit from interactive loaders, where you can physically take control of and see the coal loading. A perfect opportunity to get some F units in the game too!Vern.Comment

the BNSF Hi-Line Subdivision (Havre to Whitefish) (it's been made in MSTS/ORTS, Trainz, Railworks, and now it's Run 8's turn)
BNSF Kootenai River Subdivision (Whitefish to Spokane) (maybe merged with the above too)
BNSF Scenic Subdivision (Seattle to Wentachee)
BNSF Columbia River Subdivision (Wentachee to Spokane)
UP Green River Subdivision
BNSF KO Subdivision
BNSF Raton and Glorietta Subdivsions
CSXT Keystone Subdivision (maybe including the WM mainline that was abandoned in 1975, thus dating it to the late 1960's-early 1970's)
the ex. EL mainline in upstate New York, including Starucca
CPKC Taber Subdivision (including the Sweetgrass Subdivision and the massive Lethbridge Viaduct
the ex. BCOL mainline (now owned by the CN)
Pittsburgh Sub in the 1950's-1970's with a 4 track mainline

For something completely different, why not have a go at the old Milwaukee Road, maybe Pipestone Pass as recently released for TSC or Avery to Drexel seen many years ago in Trainz. Imagine running Little Joes and the other boxy electrics with the freedom of Run 8!
Come on Brad, come on John and Nigel. How about it?Vern.Comment

Winslow to Seligman, no idea what it is called.
No point starting the network from Seligman, if it is not going to be added to.Yma O HydComment
