Wow. Thought the release of these lovely locos would have garnered a bit more interest…
Anyhow one possible bug I’ve found and just want to get a quick opinion from the experts before reporting to John G. If you quickly apply and release the train brake without bailing, the loco brake cylinders are sometimes retaining 5 or 6lb of air. This is not a behaviour I’ve noticed with the road diesels in Run 8 or indeed the MP15’s in TSW. Releasing the train brake should surely release everything just as it applies everything. As a result, you then need to bail the loco brakes off after releasing the train brake to return the pressure to 0.

Bought the MP15 pack yesterday evening and very nice they are too. Started a fresh “Very populated SoCal” with them and getting to work with the industry around Bakersfield and the branches.
There has been some debate about the fidelity of the sounds at The Depot and on schaunwatsisname’s YT review. However John G. confirmed they were sourced from authentic MP15 recordings they took on a visit to a Tacoma short line. I like them anyway and they do come across different to the road GM’s in Run 8.
So I can thoroughly recommend and thanks again to John and the team for listening and giving us something quite new to play with.
