OK, I know what "ROFL" stands for (Rolling On the Floor Laughing - I was typing that before probably most of the kids on the internet were born, although, if you can type that, could you really BE on the floor laughing?), and I know there are several variants, including ROFLMAO, but have to ask, what the heck does "ROFFLE" stand for? I'm seeing this everywhere recently, and well, it doesn't make sense. I've seen it used as "ROFFLE-ing" as well. Is this a case of someone taking "ROFL" and trying to turn it into an actual word? And what exactly is making so many people roll on the floor laughing (I imagine people typying this on their Iphones in an inverted position on the floor).
I really don't like textican, especially now when these mobile devices give access to a full keyboard (instead of trying to use a phone keypad to do it). What's wrong with saying "that made me laugh"...
