    GNER Loading Issue

    Good Morning everybody.

I have the Route "GNER East Coast Express" by EuropeanBahn.
    Part 1 London-Peterborough Part 2 Peterborough-York.

I have not used this Route for some considerable Years but decided
to give it a new go

The 2 Disks/CD's Are in Immaculate condition, having not been used for some time. No Scratches/Marks etc.

but, When Inserting the Serial No. by myself and a Couple of family members Am being told to re-enter the Serial Code?

Any help or suggestions on this please.

    Many thanks

    Paul.

    Hi Paul,
All I can suggest is that you make sure that 'Caps Lock' is off and then enter the Serial Code EXACTLY as it's printed.

Other than that, I can't think of anything anyone else can do without physically using your PC!

Silly question - Are you entering the correct Serial Code for the part of the route you're wanting to install?

    Cheers,
    Ged

Without having that CD myself, I shall ask, where are you getting this Serial Code from?
Nearly every CD I've ever gotten that required some sort of KEY for installing had the KEY on either the paper work, (cover) for the Jewel Case, or in the manual that came with it. Only a rare few ever had it printed on the CD Label.

        Hi oper190,
For that series of CDs, the Serial Code is printed on the front of the enclosed manual.
Paul didn't say the code was on the CD!

Mind you, the 3DTrains' Feather River route CD does have it printed in the CD label!!

        Cheers,
        Ged

Not having it I was just saying some that I do have had it there on the CDs but a rare few did, so most unlikely, as most were printed either in the manual or on Jewel Box covers.

Hi everybody, thank you for all your replies.

The GNER Route I have comes In Two CD's, in two Cases, Parts one and Two have their Serial Codes In the cases although the Serial Codes are different..

I only purchased the Two CD version, which I always used to use, although I believe there was a Third Version called the Leeds Loop or something similar.

Also these are the First CD's that ask you for the Serial Code before Installing the Game,

            Many thanks

            Paul.

              Hi Paul,
So .... have you managed to install Parts 1 and 2 ?
There was also a fourth in the series, Hertford Loop. They can all be integrated into one route.

I believe that, for all add-ons which require a key, it must be entered before it is installed. There'd be no point in asking for a key AFTER it's been installed!!

              Cheers,
              Ged

                Hi Ged, me again.

You mentioned earlier "make sure that 'Caps Lock' is off "

Although the Serial Code Is In Capital letters I tried It anyway, with no Luck.

But having re-entered the code In capitals GNER Is now working.

No explanation for this and can only apologise for wasting everyones time.

                Thanks

                Paul.

                  Hi Paul,
Most of the EB routes have Serial Codes in capital letters.
If you have Caps Lock ON, then try typing capitals by pressing SHIFT and letter, you'll get the lower case letter!
Before you enter any Serial Code or Key Code, always make sure Caps Lock is OFF, then type the code exactly as printed - if a capital letter is required, press Caps Lock and the letter.

                  Cheers,
                  Ged
