    Hello everybody.

I appreciate all the help I'm getting and am very thankfull for It, especially your time and patience. but beginning to think I'm wasting your time.

This Is where I am at the Moment

My Laptop a the moment starts up as far as the Partition Page.

This Is the one thing I cannot get past for some reason and I think this Is where the
    problem may be.

"USB HDD: USB Flash Disk has been blocked by current security policy"

I have Downloaded the Media Creation Tool_22H2 and Installed It on my USB Stick but when trying to Install, It only loads as far as the Partition Page.

Think the Laptop might be going In the bin.

    Thanks

    Paul.

          Hello everybody.

It used to be When you Inserted A Windows 10 USB Stick it would
load to the point where it would give you the choice of keeping
Files or Deleting everything and Starting a Fresh/New Windows 10
with nothing on it until you installed things like Interne tor game Apps.

How come it's not doing this now?

          Tanks

          Paul.

              Hi Paul,
Sorry, mate, but I don't think anybody on this Forum can help with your problems because they appear to need some 'hands-on' care!
I suggest that you take your PC to somewhere like PC World, or a local computer repair shop, and seek their help.

              Cheers,
              Ged

Appologies for late response been away for a few Days.

Well, trying to be clever, I thought, and given the age of the Laptop and following advice from the Forums, I would change the CMos Battery. WRONG!

Having opened the Laptop and replacing with a new Battery when put back together
guess what? Power/On and off button would not work.

Have tried opening and closing the back of the Laptop several times, no joy.

As said given the age of the Laptop I see no reason to pursue this any further.

I can only apologies for the Time and effort you guys spent trying to help me with this, especially the guy beating his head against a brick wall.

Many thanks again for all the replies and your time and patience spent.

                Many thanks

                Paul.

                  Hi Paul,
Well, spending a few pennies getting somebody who knows what they are doing may have been worthwhile to save the laptop, but c'est la vie!!

Have you tried pressing Reset, or, even, removing the main battery for a few minutes then replacing it?

                  Cheers,
                  Ged

Hello again Ged, thanks for the reply.

                    Have tried just about everything.

This Laptop doesn't have a reset button.

                    Thanks

                    Paul.
