    What are your computer specs?

Yes, that is the question. What are your specs?

I've been putting a lot of my money recently into this build, so I should be future proofed for a few years... I tried to be really specific for us computer geeks...

NZXT H440 black/blue case with a Seasonic 650 watt power supply
Intel Core i7-3770K overclocked to 4.5 GHz (4 cores, 8 threads)
16 GB Corsair Vengeance blue DDR3 memory (2133 MHz speed)
    Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H WB motherboard
Boot drive: 250 GB Samsung 850 Evo with Windows 10
Storage drive: 1 TB Samsung 840 Evo
    GTX 970 Gigabyte G1 (4 GB GDDR5)
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Sound Card
Insignia 5.1 surround sound speaker set with a Pioneer receiver (1,000 watts, it's a blast in games!)
Two 27" 2560 x 1440 monitors, one 96 Hz for gaming, the other the standard 60 Hz

This is by far the fastest computer I've built, and for about $2,000 it should be! I have yet to meet a game that can bog it down on the highest settings, which is exactly what I was going for.

Now let's see what some of the rest of you have!

Come on now, don't be ashamed!

Looks like you're AMD all the way (cpu-wise).

Yeah, but I did want to get an Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 and custom build it with an ATI 4870, but my Gateway LX was only $1000 dollars with a 22" monitor, and I couldn't resist the deal.

Intel DX38BT - got tired of all the driver changes and drama with the nVidia based boards I used to use on my previous AMD builds (now living with assorted grand-kids). So, since I was going to the dark side and getting Intel (Phenom not being ready for prime time when I built this system) I opted for stability and compatibility instead...

I also felt that since I had a $1k "enthusiast" unlocked chip running at 3Ghz stock I could afford to give away a few frags for a stable mobo...
