So far - for me, I think the RF&P and PM unit just above are the most attractive blend of paints. That said, would love to have them all on quality shapes for OR

    Thanks for posting the pics!

Looking forward to the Maine Central and Boston & Maine ones.
Would be nice to see all of these in ORTS, but I am afraid it's wishful thinking at this point. Sadly CSXT isn't as desired as UP or BNSF..

Feel like maybe if that old csx trash train was still up from TS there would be a more likely chance of someone making csx heritage units for open rails.

From what I’ve heard I think the Clinchfield or the Georgia railroad unit should be coming soon(ish).

That hasn't stopped anyone before, whether it's engines or freight cars.

Even using a current ES44 model from TS, with some new handrails via a Freight Anim wouldn't be bad. I just think it's more of it's not as popular. CSXT and NS have always been back markers compared to CN, CP, BNSF and UP in the MSTS/ORTS world.

I've debated it, but I'm one of those who's holding out for a better model.

Would need more than that since the trucks are a completely different type, which would probably be more difficult to put onto another model.

Radial trucks are the biggest reason why I haven't made any effort to create these.

There are radial truck GE ES44's available from TS....

Edit: nevermind, the Radial Truck ES44 and coal bethgons aren't available in the package as I had thought.

Danny Beck's legacy models and Dekosoft's models have radial trucks. But also have other limitations.

Trainsimulations had the CSXT ES44AC pack with 3018, 3031, and 3118, these I believe came with the trash train set.

They also at one time had the CP ES44AC pack with 8701, 8728, and 8737, which I believe came with the bethgon coal set.

                          Both packs had radial trucks.

The CSXT units are currently unavailable, however the CP units are still available here in the library danny_beck_cp_locomotives_rtr.zip

If someone has the proper CSXT units, I don't see any harm in doing them into the heritage units. Others including myself have still uploaded repaints that require the older files no longer available.

If someone wants to use the CP units, it requires changing the front handrails, and the front door location, and maybe a few other things in use of a F/A.

                          Just my thoughts..

Next one up, seaboard air line.

Gotta be a favorite for sure.
