It is a story about a small locomotive Linus a 2-4-0 who gets replaces by a bigger locomotive Samson a 4-8-4 and has to rescue Samson after he gets stuck on a trestle.

I saw part of that and the bridge rescue scene reminds me of the Thomas the Tank Engine/The Railway Series Story "Bulldog" where Duke holds on to Sir Handle after the latter has an accident and derails on a cliffside.

I first read that book and saw that episode as a little kid and I rewatched it in 2017.

I'm not afraid to admit, I'm an adult (will turn 21 this December) and I still watch these older Thomas Episodes, I mean heck they're what got me into MSTS and Trainz or Trains in general.
