    UP hybrid slug set

    Something Uncle Pete has been working on.

    I don't necessarily hate it. Looks like an SD40-2F with a regular SD40-2 cab, paired with an SD40-2.

    OMAHA, Neb. — Union Pacific today took the wraps of its first mother-slug set of hybrid switching locomotives that can run on diesel fuel or batteries.     Looks like the SD equivalent of an NJT GP40FH-2. That's a unique take on slug units for sure.

      The SD40-2F is entirely full of batteries.... would love to see the weight.
