I just spotted some EMP (I think) containers that had been patched to Triple Crown (TCZU). As much as I thought it was a shame the RoadRailers had reached the end of their working life, I was looking forward to seeing Triple Crown carried onto a new container scheme, hopefully the old logo on new white containers, so I'm hoping they'll come up with something better than just patching second hand boxes. Has anyone heard if they do have plans to introduce their own new containers once they're up and running?

If I remember correctly, EMP and Hub Group were shared across the class one railroads for ownership/partnership. So doesn't surprise me these are being patched now for Triple Crown, just like CP has patched numerous ones themselves under CPPU.

More or less, because if you noticed, there was already a patch job done with the EMP, before TC took it over. I do believe it was originally a Hub Group Inc container, purchased by EMP, and now Triple Crown.
I've actually been seeing this a lot lately too with both 20' and 40' containers. Just the other day I saw a brown CMA-CGM container, that was former Triton.-Shawn K-

Yep, I've been seeing it here too with the ocean containers. I saw a bunch of Tex and Triton (I think it was both just based on the different sized paint patches) but they weren't wearing new company names and I wasn't close enough to see the reporting marks. The same train also had a bunch of reefers that had the company names painted out and were just "plain label" as well. There's always something changing...
