Retired railwayman Bruce, so it is always "up the line", not road
Yeah i watch that Outback Truckers, on the tv here. If they don't drive 500 miles in one go, on a dirt road.
Then they reckon it's not worth getting out of bed for
Brilliant news in regards your health Bruce. Particularly the kidney situation.
Good luck with the MRI, with the super duper scanner buddy.
Onwards and upwards Bruce, like the ANZACS. Used for every dirty dangerous job, not only in Gallipoli but also on the Western Front.
Mike.

Well, down here, Carmarthen's 35 miles would be referred to as "It's just up the road, mate"!
Feeling the best I have been for many years, Mike.
Had a follow-up check and tests just this Wednesday gone and apart from indications of the "small c", everything is going fine.....particularly good is that kidney function is wa-a-y better than when I went into hospital - not 100% but recovered from the dangerous situation back on Nov 17th.
PSA is also down significantly.
Anyway....next checkup on April 26th.(day after ANZAC Day) and between now and then an MRI of the prostate: our regional imaging service has recently taken delivery of a $3million machine which does amazingly high-rez imaging, apparently.
Results of that will help determine if any treatment is to be recommended for cancer.
So, as far as I'm concerned, it's all good news.

Very welcome Bruce, how have you been feeling buddy ?
Carmarthen is roughly 35 miles up the line from me.
Margam is a lot further east again, Bruce.
Mike.
