    Australia, Victoria. Southern Cross to Horsham.

    In 4K, cabview from one of the gorgeous ex-Victorian Railways C-Class locomotives (C501). About 5 hours.

      Yep....they are a nice-looking loco and very much so in that livery, Mike.

                No, it is a gp40 with coco bogies, it only weighs 134 tonne.

                      sd40 emd number gt26 weight 177 ton
                      gp40 emd number gt26 weight 126 ton

                      Call it what ever you llike, they are the same except the bogies and weight.

                      The bogies make it look like an sd40, the weight likens it to a gp40.

                      On ARTC track our normal axle load is 22.5 ton.

                      For the sake of uniformity I will call it an sd40 as well.
