Another Liberal Myth shot down in a blaze of glory!

Since 1959, the Poverty Rate has dropped by 50%:

In other words, "the poor aren't getting poorer!"

The poor in this country are poor alright. Most have cable TV, big screen TVs, high speed internet, food stamps, Aid for Dependent Children, Medicaid, Earned Income Credit, subsidized housing, a car, and sufficient leftover income to fund their cigarettes and adult beverages addiction. Many also suffer from obesity and other related health issues from excessive consumption of junk food, booze, and heavy smoking. They are also third, fourth, and fifth generation from the Johnson's "War on Poverty." Babies that were having babies, fathers unknown.

There are, of course, the exceptions. Those that are too proud to get caught up in the liberal trap of endless dependency and through no fault of their own are really deserving of a helping hand.

Then, of course, there are the beneficiaries of Affirmative Action who get it all handed to them on a silver platter, kind of like a guy named Barry Hussein Obama!

It is called trading freedom for security. The results is that you will have neither as you become totally dependent and a slave to the master in charge of handouts. Then, because of their propaganda of how bad things would be if they didn't control your lives, you continue to vote to keep them in power as the community you live in falls into moral and physical decay all around you.

Go drive through any big city urban neighborhood, if you dare, where Democrats have been in charge for the past 40 years. Note the abandoned homes, the blight, the burned out and stripped structures. This is what 40 years of Johnson's War on Poverty has resulted in.

We just had an "anti poverty" group here in the Chicago area release a report to the local media stating that Poverty in Chicago and all but one of it's collar counties has gone up 91% since (IIRC) 1983.
Now why would that be? Could it have something to do with Chicago,Cook County and the whole darned state for that matter being declared a sanctuary city/county/state?
Sounds to me like a problem that could be greatly decreased by the application of a little mass deportation.
