I'm very late here, but it's so good to hear that Melanie is alright. It's also great to see the level of support for her here.

    Welcome back!

You are who you are, Be happy with who you are. I'm sure I can speek for most, if not all, that you are a beloved freind no matter what, and we support you in everything you do, and most importantly who you truely are. You have been missed tremendously and I am so glad to see you are still around and kicking. Welcome home, my freind, Welcome home. 😁😁😁

I'm sorry that the person you originally referred to ever made you feel less human than you are. We ALL deserve to be treated with kindness, respect, and decency and you are absolutely no different nor are you excluded from that Melanie. It warms my heart that you were able to find your way back from the darkness that comes with finding acceptance in the world/community. One of my very best friend's S/O is transgender and I saw first hand the hatred he had to deal with on a constant basis when i was their roommate. Reading through these comments has reignited my faith in the comradery of this community. All too often do you find a community of similar interests only to find out down the road its full of people that aren't necessarily shining examples of human decency. (I'm looking at you Elmhurst Model RR Club) In the past I personally purchased SEVERAL of your products and will not hesitate even for a micro second to do so again should you choose to restart 3Dtrains. Reading through the comments, I think I speak for everyone when I say we are all here for you and we all support and accept your decisions and are absolutely glad to have you back.

OhMyGosh, how on earth did I ever miss this thread? Melanie, it is so good to hear from you! God bless you, my Dear, for a) taking the steps necessary to be happy and lead a fulfilling life, and b) for trusting us to share this happy occasion. I personally am very happy for you and wish you all the best in your new life. I am an extremely liberal democrat and your statement means absolutely nothing to me. You are you - period and whatever your name and gender are, is totally irrelevant. I wish you the very best and please know that you are among friends here.

I have also not been around of late, but this community is still important to me and I value your past and current presence. I am glad for you to be able to be more fully yourself.

Megacongrats Melanie Jean...glad you have found yourself and are immensely happy.

As to 3D Trains, any hope of seeing that website resurrected?

Melanie Jean It took great courage to do what you did, and even greater courage to come out and tell us. I respect you for doing what you felt you needed to do, be happy with who you are.

I for one have all or nearly all the models from 3DTrains, missed your work, so welcome back to the community.

And now? You are a Trainsimmer and therefore part of this great community.

Forgive me for a late addition to this thread. It's a profound thing, and I don't think I have the proper words. But it makes me VERY happy to learn that you are happy. Welcome back. Now, get to work - we need the Good Thing, and for my money there was never anything better connected with MSTS than the wonderful stuff that came out of the 3DTrains shop. You have been sorely missed.

                      Peace,

                      Sam
