NASA DEM Download (30m SRTM) Direct Link

Could someone be kind enough to post the link to the above. Did have it in my Favourites but lost in the Windows reset I had to do a couple of months ago.

Was a linear list of DEM files by latitude/longitude and avoided having to go through clients which require a log in or QGIS etc.

    Much appreciated.

Any good for you Vern. Just click on the area of the map you want and it will start a download option.

No need to look through lists. Login required but no big deal.

Thanks Mike. Needs a log in for the DEM files, though the greyscale images might be useful for Transport Fever 2 or Cities Skylines.

Think the site I used to go to might have been set up as FTP.

Very welcome Vern. Yes needs a login, but that can be anything buddy 😉.

I don't believe this one requires a login

If you like what you see here at Trainsim.com, be it the discussions and knowledge in the forums, items saved in our library or the ongoing development of our TSRE Fork, I hope you'll consider a paid membership to help support keeping the site operating.... Thanks!

They are my go to backup, but a lot of their data is still 90m resolution.

I'll be darned if I can find the old ftp directory listing for the NASA SRTM. Maybe it was taken down or I was getting in via a back door. Obviously they want everyone to use Earth Explorer, QGIS or the site Mike found so they can keep tabs on what's being downloaded rather than just grabbing a bunch of files anonymously.

On this page there are 1arc second resolutions.

              ...or take a look
