Berea Tower just southwest of Cleveland, OH. Double-tracked NS main right beside double-tracked CSX main. Rarely more than 15 minutes without a train. Seen as many as 3 trains at once there. Been going there since I was a kid. Only 15 min from my home.

Agreed. Both are great places. Haven't been to Cajon for a while, but railfan and film Tehachapi a few times each year.

It's been more than 6 years since I've visited either, but Bealville might be a good place for me to start again. 🙂

Sorry for the super-late response - just noticed your question. Traffic on the Mojave Sub (which includes the Tehachapi's) varies. Mondays are MOW days, but typically you'll catch about 30-45/day.
