Gawd, there's some crap appearing as "games" these days, Mike.

Tell me about it Bruce, i have searched and searched for an alternative to playing train games day in day out. Steam alone has thousands of games i should think, but 95% of them for my tastes are garbage buddy.

          I totally agree, Mike.
Seems as if any idiot with a PC and armed with a graphics animation program can churn out utter rubbish and charge for it....usually under the label "Early Access"....and never be seen again.

Spot on Bruce, game creation has become a cottage industry. The mediocrity of most of it is stunning. I was looking forward to the Australian Trucker game which was early access years back, but it seems to have disappeared. I have a couple of games bought in the past that were early access and they all folded without explanation. One was really good, set in the American wild west period. An open world game, just disappeared into the ether.
