That was my thoughts as well. My MSTS never ran stable on the newer OSes, but the editors (esp activity editor) were always a touch more reliable...

Maybe better to start over with installing JUST the base MSTS and 1.4 update, and then test before adding New Roads and Xtracks. One step at a time....
