T2P Films has announced that they are developing the 509 Toronto Streetcar Route for Metro Simulator. The route will be free to the community when released, but they are asking for help in funding the development and so have started a crowdfunding campaign. T2P has already releases several Toronto area routes.

TrainSimulations announces the release of the BNSF Seligman Route for Open Rails. This is an upgraded version of the original MSTS with new and updated locomotives, rolling stock and route elements, as well as all new activities.

North American V-Scale announces the release of their Soo Line Caboose Pack for Open Rails. This pack of four cars is representative of the second and third orders the railroad made from the International Car Company in the 1970s and 1980s. All cars include passenger vies and also 3D cabs for cars with working whistles for back-up moves.

Announcing My Train Spotting, a Java based desktop application which simplifies the storage and retrieving of data related to train spotting. Data can include video detail, train number, locomotive class, location and more.

New from North American V-Scale is a four-pack of Soo Line EMD GP-7 locomotives for Open Rails. The four units, depicted as they would have appeared in 1980, are each outfitted with 3D cabs, CD-quality distance-dependent audio, optional crew figures, and native Open Rails physics.

T2P Films, a Canadian train simulation add-on developer and publisher, recently celebrated seven years in operation. They started trainsim development by improving Dave Reage's Toronto subway Yonge-University-Spadina line for OpenBVE. They are currently working on developing the Toronto subway Line 1 extension.
