Hey man i really hope you can do some US MOW Stuff.. Like a Loram rail grinder or some UP E units and Mow trucks
  2. Hi Driverman

Thanks for that, I have a good idea how the swing outs work and how to put it into the Challenger... it would be a custom coupling.. now whether it makes it in before my deadline is another matter.

    Cheers Sly
  3. I hope I'm giving you some good friendly help here. I found this video of a Union Pacific Big Boy with the front coupler. This should help you out with the Challengers you're working on for Railworks.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fchl...eature=channel

As you can see, there's an "Open" position where the coupler sticks out, then in the "Closed" position, the coupler isn't there, and instead, you see a little steel extention on the cowcatcher.
  4. Thankyou

You're doing a pretty fine job on the Challenger. Keep it up!
  6. I hope you can include a variety of UP Challenger locomotives for Railworks. That would be great if you could make the following:

*UP black coal-fired challenger locomotives and tenders.
*UP black coal-fired challenger locomotives with smoke deflectors (we know that).
*UP black oil-fired challenger locomotives and tenders.
*UP black oil-fired challenger locomotives with smoke deflectors.
*UP grey & yellow coal-fired challenger locomotives with smoke deflectors and tenders.
*UP grey & yellow oil-fired challenger locomotives with smoke deflectors and tenders.

That would be great if you could do that, and make passenger scenarios on Cajon Pass with the UP black oil-fired challenger #3985.
  7. Sorry if I sounded like a real hard ass. I would just like to see the Challenger (and other American steam locomotives) as realistic as possible so I can feel like I'm driving the real thing.
  8. You are the one working on the Challenger for Railworks?!
