That's a good way of putting it, Jason. :)
I tried the demo and have changed my opinion......beautiful it may be but it's NOT worth every cent!!:(
Vern and Sean are correct.....and to paraphrase Mr. Spock from Star Trek, it isn't a sim as we...
Absolutely beautiful.
This is, in my opinion, worth every cent.
Thanks muchly for the link, Jason.
My mum grew up in this area west of Christchurch before the family moved down to Dunedin.
Although I visited NZ as a child I've never been back, sad to say.
There's good reason to question that, Phil, because many people running high-end equipment have experienced similar issues, yet have next to no such problems when running other demanding software.
...
LOL!! Thanks for the laugh, Vern. I just had a look through the side of the case (it's got a large "window" in it) and the cat is definitely not in there. :)
Some dust build-up but nothing to cause...
I reinstalled Tranz 2019 today (it's been off my PC for a couple of years) purely to revisit the Canadian route which I had bought around the same time.
I was somewhat alarmed - and surprised - by...
Yep.... RoysTrainz was the name of the developer, Vern.
That was the last Trainz route I bought, in fact. He did a very good job with it.
Jeez! How condescending can you get?
Just bought and installed and my initial impression is yes!.....such a good job and a nice change from the Southern Californian environment.
Well done, R8 lads. :)
Thanks, Mark.
Yep....I just checked and it's the Bergensbanen section of the package.
I'll have another go at trying to download the route....the first attempt came up with a "fail"....
Are you sure, Mark?
From what I can determine, using Google Maps to locate the places mentioned in the intro to the route, the Bergen to Al (thence Oslo) route doesn't form part of the VBSR package,...
 I just had a look at the download site....1850 kilometres!! That's some route!
Aaah! Yes....I hadn't considered that aspect, Vern. So true.
And this particular route has dozens of them.
Today I spent several hours watching a cab-view video of a 4-hour freight haul from Bergen to Al in Norway.
The female driver/engineer - pen-name RailCowGirl - has done many similar vids over the...
The old story of change not necessarily equating to improvement.
I can relate to programmers not having any idea of how the end product will sit with the people for whom it was designed and...
I met him once, Mike. Back in 1964. Here's a link to the meeting, as I described in a blog.
Chips Rafferty, Barry McKenzie (Humphries) and Mick "Crocodile" Dundee (Hogan) have a LOT to answer for! :D
Good-oh, then! :D
I don't recall that situation ever cropping up and I've been a Firefox user since it came out in 2002.
Yeah, Mike.....I know that :)...which was why I was reinforcing your statement that Ad Blocker doesn't stop the reCaptcha pop-up.
Do you also take the battery out of your phone when not using it,...
Yeah....I am using Ad Blocker and the reCAPTCHA pop-up is not affected.
What language are you using??
Thank you.....but there's nothing I can do to correct it.
Well I won't be forking out $100 for it, Mike......not just to be able to run that iron-ore route.
