I would imagine there are 200 foot plate girder bridges out there, just unusual.
Paul :-)
I was kind of surprised with the lack of support under the bridge too. Those covered hoppers are 58 feet long, so that bridge is a 200 footer with no support.
Paul :-)
Where's the van!
Just noticed that the signals are turned 90 degrees from the track, what's the story behind them?
Paul :-)
Try
hwy2l2wnaStrt40m_Exit and hwy2l2wnaStrt40m_Merge

Hi All,
A friend asked about animating the switchstands on the DAR route I'm rebuilding and maybe it's time to look into that.
I've downloaded an animated switchstand and had a look but not...
Go to Windows and at the bottom of the menu select "Reset Window Positions" and just drag the two towards the bottom out of the way.
Paul :-)
I solved the problem. Not seen this one before so just taking stabs at it to see what happens. I only have four activities for the route to test things with. The one I used to see the new DMs was...
Hi All,
I'm using Open Rails X1.3.1-263-g7abeb7d51. Haven't noticed a problem with it until this morning when I added Distant Mountains to the DAR route. Now my speed displays in Km/H and not...
Thanks Robert,
I'll give that a try.

Thanks Kapitaen, replaced the dll but still no joy.

When I tried to install v0.699 on this Windows 10 laptop I got a error saying that OpenAl32.dll wasn't present on this machine. I searched for it and found it in the Open Rails folder. I moved the...
I downloaded a new version yesterday but it will not install on my Windows 7 machine. Do I have to delete the old version first or are the newer versions of TSRE only for Windows 10?
OK, I see...
The search engine here doesn't usually do much for a three character search.

Actual file name is SPS_700A.zip, it's still in the library"

Hi Nick,
Should come in handy for the steam engines.

Finally got the Kentville turntable working in Open Rails today. As I've been trying to get it to work over the last week and a half I've noticed some of the values changing at different time. Just...
I can't believe what the problem turned out to be. Every once in a while when I've saved something the turntable after lacing it in one of the route editors I've gone back and noticed a number has...
Can you check something for me? If you open the World File and find the entry for your turntable, check the CollideFlags entry. My entry keeps changing from 00200180 to 00200100 and I'm not sure...
Yesterday I was able to adjust the turntable using the Ctrl+9 to the same height of the enginehouse lead track which is 44.999 in TSRE5. The problem is the yellow track data line was still below the...
If I place the turntable using TSRE5 instead of connecting to the enginehouse lead at the same elevation (45.0) it connects at 44.821. If I place the turntable using MSTS RE it connects at 45.179. ...
OK, finally had a few minutes to give this a try.

When I use the "T" command to adjust the height using the 9 key it only goes from 44.821 to...
The problem I'm having is when I place the turntable at the end of the enginehouse lead track, it "snaps" into place but is 0.181 feet below the track that I snapped it to in TSRE5 and will not let...
Thanks guys, that's what I have been doing and it's still not connecting properly to the track end. It's also out vertically, at ground level and not at the track height.

Hi All,
I've made a 27m turntable with the shape replaced with the Kentville turntable on the DAR. I've been having trouble getting it to work but I sent it to someone who has built turntables...
