Thanks, Mike.
:D
Many thanks for the link.
Could some knowledgeable person please advise if I am running the current version of the Monogame?
The ID in the top of the OR opening screen says "Open Rails NewYear MG...
Tweaking, tinkering.....much of a muchness.

For those of you who are persisting with TSW2, this should be of interest.
The link to the mod is in the description text.

Well, you said
Each of those titles is as different from the other as chalk is to cheese and if you enjoy "tweaking" Trainz, then forget about tweaking anything in the first two.
Run 8 is a...
Well, I bought TSW2 purely for Clinchfield....the nostalgia thing and also hoping for some good stuff with the F7, I s'pose.
But then the disappointment hit! :(
No problem, Mike. I hardly ever used TSW v1 and since experiencing the disappointing physics in v2 I'll most likely let it accumulate dust and cobwebs as well. :D
Well, one minute you're announcing plans to produce something new and the next minute you're saying that you feel no pressure to do anything.
So which is it.....are you going to develop a new...
No, only several routes, Mike.
And there are the differences between your approach and that of many, many others; you don't mind the stuffing about because you look at it (tinkering and umpteen installs) as an extension of your...
Ditto.
I think that many of we oldies, who cut their teeth on single-player games (before the internet stuffed everything up), much prefer to not have to play online with others.
It's bad...
All my TSW v1 stuff works in TSW v2.
If you have TSW v1 installed and operational, when you install TSW v2 it will see what you already have and allow it to be used in v2.
Make your mind up, Sean!
That is the main reason that I gave up on it.....and I was there back at the creation of the product and then followed it through as far as TANE.
Although I have v2019 installed, I rarely used it...
Not in my experience and I use it for several games.
It acts on the whole simulation, not on individual routes.
Yes. All the different effects are available for tweaking during the...
Yeah....it's not bad at all, Vern. :)
Just issued by the same guy who did the mod for the SD-40.

Wall of words, mate.
Aaah! Okay....there you go.
I hadn't realised that.
Phil's creations are works of art.
The closest thing I've ever seen to what he does was watching a model builder at the Australian War Memorial creating a WW1 diorama of the Gallipoli landings at...
That, I do not know. I don't think anyone outside of DTG knows what calculations they have used for the determination of the physics of the rolling stock and locomotives.
Whatever they have come...
The realism is certainly better than the DTG stuff.
Yeah...it's all over the place, Vern.
Maybe DTG should stick to their own backyard, as you suggest.
As a matter of interest, this afternoon I ran TM4, the Potash line, empty train in.
Then I ran...
