I have had that happen, you need to edit that specific path in trackviewer, look for any broken parts, some are tricky and need to be repaired manually.

My wife also. I played it a few times, but my favorite puzzle has always been chess, always a low level player, just for the mind exercise and enjoyment, dislike speed chess or punching timers.
