For Clarification, since this is an Open Rails forum: (...referring to the e.raw and n.raw files ) raw terrain files only generate when you open the route if you are using MSTS. OR does not use or...
No problem...though it sure is pleasant to have someone tell me I had a great thought!! Gee..It might be my first one...this saturday mornin. ;)

I'm glad the problem was solved. However, something is still operating curiously in your installation. My default option is to have the "Load DDS in preference to ACE" box checked all the time. I...
Don checking tree shapes in both ORTS and TSRE...they render correctly in the vegreville area...see screenshot. I'm at a loss, something is amiss in your installations, or ( respectfully ) "pilot...
Overcast skies are possible in OR, and can be fine tuned to users specifications using in game controls. I'm surprised this "unplayable simulator" has piqued your interest, maybe not, we will see.

Not to worry about the "UV Index"... uncheck the "show shape warnings" and follow Paul's advice...much more logical and to the point. Find the correct tree texture required by the shape file. You...

While TSRE will open and view NAVS car files ( for instance either of the open top quad or triple hopper wag type1 base files ) you cannot use shapeviewer to open the wag files...because it does not...
Thanks, my tagline "Forever, ridin' drag in railroad knowledge" remains as accurate today as it was yesterday...although I learned something new.
Paul, now that one blue pole rings a bell. If I remember correctly there have been some posts --- here or at ET -- about removing a single blue pole...not being a route builder, I'm wayyy out of my...
Foobie??? I never knew either...I assumed it referred to something that was fake because all my research pulled up was the following:
Ged, just to make sure, in case people are actually reading this thread...
To use the NAVs files you have to start with the navs_hopper_100t_triple_type1.base.zip file and then add other NAVS...
Paul, that's excellent, happy you found success. Pete Willard put together the TSRE pdf and published it on github...and thanks gotta go to Vince Cockeram (sp?) for learning TSRE while reworking...
Yep, lots of thanks to rrdiesel87 for the time and effort and sharing. Truly, an abundance of fine work.
However, you gotta remember, this is a community effort...thanks also to Erick Cantu for...
Hey Doug, one suggestion -- you did not mention doing this, perhaps you did?
Look at the TSRE log.txt file, it is in the TSRE folder, the log will contain information about any problems.
I...

I wouldn't remove it --- I'd hang my laundry on it. ( my deepest apologies Paul...could not resist ;) )
