When I look closely at a crossing that doesn't flash, it appears that only one light actually physically exists on each pole....

Correction - It appears that some do and some don't.....

That's weird - On my copy of MLT's Soldier Summit the crossing lights DO flash. I haven't amended the s files in any way.

That seems to have done the trick. :) I've noted the changes you made to the original eng file and will apply them to a couple of other locos that came with that route and are also exhibiting...

I'm running ORMG 124 also but the track speed shows up for me in the monitor.

I don't have those either. However I have 15 acts in total which is what I believe the documentation stated.
