Thanks guys,
This started out as the 1940s LHR but I moved it west about 1000 miles and started decorating it to around 1965.
I've also done a bit of moving, adding, and deleting of track....
Trying to create a place where trains go through instead of a train that goes through places.

There's a file here in the library, Oldentrack, that may be what you're looking for.

Edit to add clickity-clack over at ET. You add it to an engines .eng/.sms file. Sounds good.
So... Are they black with white stripes, white with black stripes or red with black and white stripes.
Read the forums,
Figure out which 3D modeling program you want to use,
Watch lots of youtube videos,
Ask a lot of questions,
Pull out lots of hair,
Boom, done.
There's a little more to it but...
Is the route you're trying to run in the same Routes folder as the defaults?
If not the installme.bat won't work.
What route is giving you issues? Maybe someone else could look at their install....
Does the route you're trying to run have an installme.bat in the folder?
If so you'll have to run it.
An openrailslog file would be a good start also.

Hit the windows key and type "error".
Pick "View all problem reports".
Maybe Windows can tell you what's happening.

How about the whole cabview on a second monitor.
Just to add.
You can replace the equipment called for in the activity with whatever you have on hand.
The Consist Editor that comes with TSRE can do this. It can be found here.
While you're there...
Your new install should look something like this.
C:/OpenRails
C:/Trainsim
These have to stay separate.
These will vary on your circumstances and preferences. Use what makes sense to you....
The next step would be to download OpenRails and the manual that goes with it.
And please feel free to ask questions.
Glad you got it sorted out.
What did you end up having to do?
For the next time someone has these problems.

In TSRE, under Paint Texture (F2), you can load the ace and paint or put the texture where you want it.
If you try to enlarge a shape too much the texture you use will be stretched across the shape...
Running "under the wire" somewhere in Kansas.

Not sure about this but XTracks might not overwrite a shape already in the Global/Shapes folder.
Install XTracks to a work folder and then copy/paste into your Global/Shapes folder overwriting when...
I'd hate to try and recreate the Global folder. That would definitely be a copy/paste for me.
Then there's Routes and Trains, nothing to install there.
I'm curious to know why you want to do this.

Don't you just love self installing content?
I always run these installers into an empty folder created just for that route, or any other content that has a setup.exe.
It's easy enough to move the...
If you intend on using MSTS or any of the editors that came with it then you'll want to uninstall it and reinstall it outside of any of the system folders. Per the Steam4me site.
Otherwise you can...
We're up to 52.
It's here in the file library.
Nice.
It's too bad you can't put it in the sim and use it.
Dave,
Do you have an acleantrack.ace in the route's textures folder?
